Goodbye my friend

My beloved Jessica had a very long and full life. She lived 8 happy years where she had the run of the house and the garden, chewed through very expensive things, and loved me dearly. She listened to my complaints, she celebrated my successes, and she sat patiently by my feet during the long and sometimes boring work days. What a very empty house it now seems like without her constant presence and friendship. She became so very important to me and now she is gone. How lucky am I that she chose to love me for so long. Goodbye my friend.

Jessica has been unwell and we thought we had lost her. But she is a fighter and is getting better every day. Which apparently is quite strange for a rabbit.

I finished writing my thesis! Finally! Really! So I was at a loss as to what to do with my time. I found this tutorial on how to use clipping masks with some downloadable templates. So I had a play. So therefore, I subject you to more Jessica.

Spring just keeps getting better

One more month until summer hits Dunedin, and they forecast snow and I light the fire, much to the delight of Jessica who took up her normal position.

Whenever I go to the pantry Jessica Bunny comes running because she knows this is where her treats are kept. She always stands up tall on her hind legs to ask for treats. How can you say no to that face?

The flowers are starting to bloom, the sun is peaking through and Jessica is back out in the garden. It must be spring.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend with very little work. Played some squash, watched some videos, went for a run, and took photos of Jessica in the garden.

The real Jessica Bunny Rabbit - 365/29

Jessica got loose in the garden again today, this is a common occurrence, she always comes back inside because it's warmer and there is food. Today she was making friends with a garden bunny ornament.

Welcome home - 365/14

Our beloved Jessica has been staying in an outside cage with a friend for a month. She is an inside bunny so I don't think she liked camping out all that much. She is now nicely back in her snug little kennel and will be back in the house when we have managed to settle ourselves in. She is a little wild at the moment, but I would be too if I was used to being pampered and had to go camping.
